Meet the Friends of Kakamega Team

Friends of Kakamega is managed by a board of eight volunteers from across the eastern United States.

Founded in 2002, we have grown tremendously since then. In 2017, our fifteenth year, we hired John Chisholm as our Finance and Operations manager to help us professionalize our operations and sustain our growth; at the start of 2019 we made him our Executive Director.
