CARE CENTRE PROGRAM
Opportunity to thrive

The Care Centre provides a stable place to learn for elementary school children facing extraordinary challenges at home, and also serves as a transitional home for those with nowhere else to go. For the majority of Care Centre children who have mothers or other living relatives but face immense barriers at home to getting a meaningful education, the Care Centre provides an enriching school-year environment that offers a holistic set of support free from the insecurities.
More than 90% of Care Centre children are attending high school or have already graduated And more than 40% of the Care Centre's high school grads are now attending or graduated from college or university |
For the 50 or so children who stay at the Care Centre, a new world of opportunity is opened up through the stability of the Centre's nurturing, family environment, which strikes a balance between structure, guidance, and lightheartedness, in turn providing children with the opportunities they need to succeed in school and to develop confidently into adolescence.
