COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY PROGRAM
Helping students' hard work pay off

In Kenya's highly competitive job market, where the number of jobless youth far outstrips available employment, employers have their pick of many candidates. Because of this, very few businesses are willing to train new staff from scratch, and instead they ask for previous training in the form of education certificates. A college degree may an obvious pre-requisite for professional jobs, but to get a salaried job as a cook or cashier an applicant often needs a college certificate to stand a chance.
In this challenging employment landscape, KOCC's College & University program helps our brightest students pursue their college dreams so they can develop careers and achieve the kinds of contributing and productive lives for which they've worked so hard.
We aren't able to send all of our high school grads to college, but we are dedicated to ensuring that our brightest students - especially those who have shown a strong interest in community service - have the chance to develop their professional talents in post-secondary training.
